Steward's Report
An out of competition sample was taken from Rapidfire Marlin on 13 December 2022 pursuant to GAR 139.
Ohana Paw Patrol - late scratching at 8:02am with permission of the Stewards.
Challis Chaser and Rapidfire Marlin were slow to begin.
Rapidfire Marlin faltered at the 250m mark and subsequently tailed off. Rapidfire Marlin underwent a post-race verterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
A post–race sample was taken from Challis Chaser – the winner of the event.
