Steward's Report
Whisky Nip was quick to begin. Call Me Jim was slow to begin.
Whisky Nip marred Call Me Jim in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion on the left hock. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Darren Petersen regarding Whisky Nip’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Whisky Nip was charged with marring. Mr Petersen pled guilty to the charge, Whsiky Nip was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
