Super Hot checked off Hotshot Booker in the home straight. Orange Fisheggs checked off Hudson Ruby in the home straight. Hudson Ruby and Esperance Bay collided approaching the winning post. Hotshot Booker and Esperance Bay collided at the winning post.

Mr.L.Moore, trainer of Astrome redeclared a new weight of 30.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Astrome last raced at 28.5kg.

Oriental Tsunami was slow to begin. Jack's Last went up with the lids at box rise. Bush Matey, Astrome, It'z Fair Dinkum and Before Dawn collided soon after the start. Baby Brodie and It'z Fair Dinkum collided on the first turn.

Thelma's Man, Miss Bo Dees and Rio Rita collided on the second turn checking Rio Rita. Nitrofied galloped on the heels of Rio Rita approaching the home turn checking Ultimate Jack and severely checking Rio Rita, which fell as a result.

Vizzari contacted the running rail on the first turn. Hymie galloped on the heels of Tybellene on the first turn. Alisha Jewel checked off Gorbachev approaching the home turn. Vizzari checked off Hymie on the home turn and raced wide as a result.  Nimble Kay raced wide on the home turn.

Rapid Roy, Nat's Joy and Erza Allen collided in the back straight, checking Rapid Roy, Nat's Joy, My Boy and Jane Eliza. Nat's Joy and Erza Allen collided on the second turn. Rapid Roy and Erza Allen collided on the second turn.

My Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a broken metatarsal, and was humanely euthanised.

Delta Queen and Big Bad Tom collided approaching the first turn. Tara Gold checked off Dark Saga on the first turn. Star Titan and Tina Two collided on the home turn. Delta Queen and Big Bad Tom collided on the home turn. Emma Reg and Dark Saga collided on the home turn and again in the home straight. Tara Gold checked off Claretown Tex entering the home straight. Delta Queen and Big Bad Tom collided in the home straight.

Bush Rebel and Hestia Bale were slow to begin. Miss Mantra and Mahalo collided soon after the start. Billyo and Cerberus collided entering the back straight, checking Billyo and Hestia Bale.

Billyo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both shoulders, the left triangle muscle and right groin muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Just Vivacious was a scratching from this event, after the greyhound was drawn into the fields when ineligible.
