Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Be Rugged.
Mike's Tiger, Inter Black Fire and Pepper Kade were quick to begin. Whizzer was slow to begin.
Be Rugged fell entering the catching pen, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left triangle and hock as well as multiple lacerations. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Mike's Tiger - the winner of the event.
Mr. David Jensen was issued with a warning for failing to follow the Starter's orders when boxing Golden Eye, pursuant to GAR 105.
