Bar No Blue was quick to begin. Brumby Boy and Love Capers were slow to begin. Bar No Blue and Gobble Gobble collided approaching the first turn checking Gobble Gobble. El Chana and Love Capers collided approaching the home turn checking El Chana. El Chana and Brumby Boy collided approaching the home turn checking Brumby Boy. Gobble Gobble and Save Geronimo collided on the home straight checking both greyhounds. Brumby Boy and Outlaw Charlie collided in the home straight.
