Steward's Report
A race day sample was taken from Riverside Lily at the trainer’s kennel, earlier today.
Banjo Black and Acacia Dream were quick to begin.
Laid Back Larry turned its head inwards approaching home turn, underwent a post-race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Ms. Maureen Turner regarding Laid Back Larry’s racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124 Laid Back Larry was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms Turner pled guilty to the charge, Laid Back Larry was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
