A race day sample was taken from Cool Stone at the trainer’s kennel, earlier today.
Little Ollie Mac was quick to begin.
Little Ollie Mac contacted the rail entering the home straight, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr C. Kelly regarding the difficulty in boxing Felonious Gru in this event. A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 106 (2) and Stewards will monitor the greyhound at future starts.
