Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 75(6) Kennel Attendant, Ms G.Moate did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Sawyer Bale and Jet Fighter were quick to begin.
Vlasta Bale (turned its head inwards approaching the winning post) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind toe. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr C.Hudson regarding Vlasta Bale’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Vlasta Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Hudson pleaded guilty to the charge, Vlasta Bale was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
