Steward's Report

Smoking Sophie fell approaching the first turn, underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury.

The announcement of the All Clear was delayed for the Stewards to review the positioning of the lure approaching the first turn. After viewing the footage and acting on their own observations of the incident, the Stewards were comfortably satisfied that no greyhound was advantaged or disadvantaged so as to affect the outcome of the event. The All Clear was declared. The lure system was checked and tested thoroughly following the event.
