My Turanza and Sutton Club were slow to begin. Boris Bekim and My Turanza collided soon after the start checking My Turanza. Belena Prince checked off Riley's Planet approaching the first turn. Belena Prince and Boris Bekim collided on the first turn, Boris Bekim contacted the running rail as a result. Sutton Club checked off Bourbon Club approahcing the home turn checking Cosmic Cyclone. Bourbon Club and My Turanza collided approaching the home turn checking My Turanza.
Boris Bekim was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
