Flynnie and Dynamic Dash collided on the first turn checking Dynamic Dash. Libstar raced wide on the home turn severely checking Wai Nui Lea, Dynamic Dash and Elite Tornado, and causing Dynamic Dash to race wide.

Got Held Up and Chrichton Bale were slow to begin. Unther Bale, Warami Sam and Got Held Up collided soon after the start. Bill I Am, Fearless John and Fear The Best collided on the first turn severely checking Bill I Am. Got Held Up and Unther Bale collided in the home straight.

Bill I Am was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both wrists and both monkey muscles, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Dyna Machina and Black Mogambo were slow to begin.  Dyna Machina, Crymelon Scylla and Barjas collided on the first turn, checking Crymelon Cylla and Meadow View and severely checking Barjas.  She's Got Issue and Macburner collided on the first turn.  Black Mogambo checked off She's Got Issues approaching the home turn, checking Barjas.  Barjas and Black Mogambo collided entering the home straight.  Macburner and Bowen Raider collided in the home straight, Bowen Raider raced wide as a result.

My Turanza and Sutton Club were slow to begin. Boris Bekim and My Turanza collided soon after the start checking My Turanza. Belena Prince checked off Riley's Planet approaching the first turn. Belena Prince and Boris Bekim collided on the first turn, Boris Bekim contacted the running rail as a result. Sutton Club checked off Bourbon Club approahcing the home turn checking Cosmic Cyclone. Bourbon Club and My Turanza collided approaching the home turn checking My Turanza.

Cudgee George was slow to begin. Noosa Rocket, Cudgee Destroyer, African Storm and Six Green Thumbs collided soon after the start checking African Storm and Noosa Rocket. Noosa Rocket checked off Cudgee George approaching the first turn. African Storm checked off Arolok Molly on the first turn. Dark Jameson and Creamy Soda collided approaching the home turn checking Dark Jameson. Noosa Rocket raced wide on the home turn, checking African Storm which raced wide as a result.

Out This Way checked off Karagiozis on the first turn checking Arena Allen. Arena Allen checked off Out This Way approaching the home turn. Out This Way raced wide on the home turn.

Out This Way was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right wrist, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Arena Allen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind toe.  No stand down period was imposed.

P. Bouwer, trainer of Kid Diddo redeclared a new weight of 27.9 kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Kid Kiddo last raced at 26.2 kg.

Demonstrous was slow to begin. Kid Kiddo and Ima Harley collided soon after the start. American Dollar, Why Not Beau and Demonstrous collided on the first turn severely checking American Dollar. Kid Kiddo raced wide in the home straight.

Whiz Kid and Kang Bale collided soon after the start. Spyware, Crowbar, Dawn Waker, Shadow Lea, Ken's Party and Go On Then collided approaching the first turn checking Crowbar and Ken's Party. Spyware, Dawn Waker and Shadow Lea collided approaching the first turn. Kang Bale, Spyware, Dawn Waker and Ken's Party collided on the first turn checking Shadow Lea, Crowbar and Whiz Kid, and severely checking Spyware and Dawn Waker, Dawn Waker fell and tailed off as a result.
