Mrs. Sherida Hastie the trainer of Lady Lachlan redeclared a new weight of 26.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 36(2).  Lady Lachlan last raced at 25.5kg.

Mohawk Mako and Lily Dior were slow to begin.  Love Capers crossed to the rail approaching the first turn.  Lady Lachlan and Speedy Red collided approaching the first turn.  Lily Dior and Lady Lachlan collided approaching the first turn.  Mohawk Mako was checked off Pully George on the first turn.  Mohawk Mako, Lily Dior and Lady Lachlan collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Mohawk Mako and Lady Lachlan collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Pully George and Speedy Red collided entering the home straight checking Pully George.  Lady Lachlan brushed the running rail approaching the winning post.

Miss Lorena and Wasem Twist were quick to begin.  Gorbachev and Grasshopper were slow to begin.  Miss Johannsen was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Grasshopper and Blonde Lilly collided approaching the first turn.  Grasshopper, Miss Johannsen and Blonde Lilly collided on the first turn checking Grasshopper and Blonde Lilly.  Gorbachev and Wasem Twist collided approaching the home turn.  Zenome Bale and Miss Johannsen collided on the home turn checking Miss Johannsen.  Miss Johannsen and Blonde Lilly raced wide in the home straight.

Uno Nando and Feen Dish collided soon after the start checking Uno Nando.  Gospel Lass and Teenie Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Teenie Bale.  Foot Candy and Teenie Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Teenie Bale.  Gospel Lass was checked off Uno Nando approaching the home turn checking Foot Candy.  Uno Nando and Kynan's Magic collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Foot Candy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Fred Best, Aeroplane Ritzy and El McFadden were slow to begin.  Master Bear, Schlitterbahn, Segatashya and Osiris collided approaching the first turn checking Aeroplane Ritzy and Master Bear.  Aeroplane Ritzy and Master Bear collided on the first turn causing Osiris to gallop on Master Bear severely checking both greyhounds.

Master Bear was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained and injured right chest muscle and a graze to the right hind leg, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Minority was a late scratching at 6.22pm due to non arrival (GAR 31).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer Mr. Glen Campbell was fined the sum of $100.

Idle Ways was checked off Compa Allen approaching the first turn.  Nat's Joy, Idle Ways and Summer Wages collided on the first turn checking Idle Ways.  Nat's Joy and Summer Wages collided on the first turn checking Nat's Joy.  Summer Wages and Battle Flame collided approaching the home turn.  Allen Cydan and Battle Flame collided in the home straight.

Miss Spence was quick to begin.  He's Buzzin' was slow to begin.  Fearsome Warior and Baron Bling collided approaching the first turn.  Miss Spence crossed to the rail approaching the first turn and faltered losing ground and subsequently tailed off.  Dyna Olsen and He's Buzzin' collided on the first turn.

Miss Spence was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a dropped right back muscle, a 30 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Cecil Kiernan the trainer regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Fearsome Warrior.  Stewards directed that Fearsome Warrior be boxed first in future events.

Mr. Kelvyn Greenough was fined the sum of $50 for his failure to produce the registration card for the greyhound Unleash De Fear pursuant to GAR 33.

Team Player, Willy Bale and Papa Hook collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds.  Vapour Storm and Crosscheck collided approaching the first turn.  Team Player clipped the heels of Vapour Storm on the first turn.  Napalm Red and Crosscheck collided approaching the home turn.  Vapour Storm and Papa Hook collided entering the home straight.  Vapour Storm was checked off Napalm Red in the home straight.

Unix Bale and Ding's Chance were slow to begin.  Ding's Chance and Juan Diego collided soon after the start checking Ding's Chance.  Sisco Good and Ding's Chance collided approaching the first turn checking Ding's Chance.  Ding's Chance and Juan Diego collided on the first turn checking Ding's Chance.  Unix Bale, Juan Diego and Ding's Chance collided on the first turn checking Juan Diego and Ding's Chance.  Kraken Soupy and Sisco Good collided on the first turn checking Sisco Good.  Unix Bale and Juan Diego collided approaching the home turn checking Unix Bale.

Lock Stock was slow to begin.  Princess Jazmena and David Best collided approaching the first turn checking Princess Jazmena.  Jake's A Devil and Le Doyen collided approaching the first turn checking Le Doyen.  Garman Bale was checked off Playing Tough approaching the first turn.  Lock Stock and David Best collided on the first turn checking David Best and Princess Jazmena.  Princess Jazmena galloped on David Best on the first turn checking both greyhounds.

Destiny Bale was slow to begin.  Hypo Holly was slow to begin, tailed off and took no competitive part in the event.  Phil Mieski and Booma Mikado collided on the first turn.  Jungle Warfare was checked off Mary's Guess entering the home straight.  Jungle Warfare galloped on Mary's Guess in the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Hypo Holly was vetted and after being re-vetted following event 11, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left back muscle and left coupling muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Terence Burns the trainer of the greyhound Hypo Holly.  Stewards deemed the performance of Hypo Holly unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Hypo Holly must perform a satisfactory trial all tracks before any future nomination will be accepted.

Sisco Fiasco and La Luca Trick were slow to begin.  Noaki Buckley was checked off Thor Bale approaching the first turn.  Dyna Fatbob and Amber Blaze collided on the first turn checking Dyna Fatbob.  Sisco Fiasco and Dyna Fatbob collided approaching the home turn checking Sisco Fiasco, Dyna Fatbob and La Luca Trick.  Amber Blaze raced wide in the home straight.

In The Flesh, Bella Broccoli and Hot Blooded were slow to begin.  Hot Blooded crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Kathy's Queen, Daggy's Gift and Bella Broccoli.  Hot Blooded and Explosive Lass collided approaching the home turn checking Explosive Lass.  Daggy's Gift and Bella Broccoli collided on the home turn.  Hot Blooded eased in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Trevor Allen the trainer of the greyhound Hot Blooded.  Hot Blooded was vetted and after being re-vetted 30 minutes later, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left chest muscle and left triangle muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1) the Stewards charged Hot Blooded with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by reason of injury and directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
