Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr Robert Tolson in regards to the scratching of the greyhound Itchy Kaala, allowing a vacant box next to his other greyhound engaged, Brindle Fire. Mr Tolson stated that Itchy Kaala had sustained a left wrist injury during the week and would not be returning to the track for a substantial amount of time. Stewards noted Mr Tolsons comments and took no further action.
Miss Molly Lee and Phoenix Flight were slow to begin.
Miss Molly Lee (lost ground in the back straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
A post–race sample was taken from Taltarni Black – the winner of the event.
