Steward's Report
Dud Cheque, Mepunga Sunset and Moraine Arlo were quick to begin. Good Innings was slow to begin.
Mepunga Sunset collided with the inside rail on the home turn and underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr Garry Marshmann, regarding the performance of Dud Cheque in this event. Mr Marshmann stated that the greyhound had recently trialled well (publicly) at both Ballarat and Mt Gambier, but was otherwise at a loss to explain the significant market support for the greyhound. A post–race urine sample was taken.
