Steward's Report
Hondo Lane, Snow Renaissance and Bow Now were slow to begin. Inter Bengal was very slow to begin (3 lengths).
Snow Renaissance lost ground at the 200m mark, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following event 7. Snow Renaissance was found to have a rght thigh injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Kenneth Doidge regarding Snow Renaissance performance from the 200m mark. In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr. Doidge to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Snow Renaissance in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
Wild Printers underwent a post-race veterinary examination following an incident in the catching pen - no apparent injury was reported.
Selma Slick underwent a post-race veterinary examination following an incident in the catching pen and was found to have injuries to the right sesamoid and left hip. A 5 day stand down perod was imposed.
