Aussie Bear was quick to begin.
Madalia Patch turned its head inward and marred Retro Rocket in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Ms Bianca Clark regarding Madalia Patch’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Madalia Patch was charged with marring. Ms Clark pled guilty to the charge,Madalia Patch was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at today’s track and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Stewards spoke to Ms Sheryl Thomas regarding the difficulty in boxing Sinful Sid in this event. A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 106 (2) and Stewards will monitor future starts.
