Steward's Report
A sample was taken from What A Suprise upon arrival at the course.
Feather Nest and Dr. Earnie were slow to begin.
Magic Bee faltered approaching the first turn and lost ground, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 5. Magic Bee was found to have a right foreleg long head triceps injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Phillip Pollutro regarding the greyhound's performance and racing manners in the back straight. After hearing submissions from Mr pollutro, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Magic Bee unsatisfactory. Magic Bee must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post–race sample was taken from Feather Nest– the winner of the event.
