Master Of Dreams was severely checked on the first turn and lost considerable ground as a result.

Funny Old Fellow was severely checked and fell on the first turn, underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Spotted Spectre was severely checked and fell on the first turn, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left radius/ulna fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Mrs. Avenger was severely checked and fell on the first turn, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have superficial abrasions to the right-hindleg and right-foreleg. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Spirited Wish raced ungenerously on the first turn. Stewards spoke to trainer Mrs. Ann Panetta regarding the greyhound's racing manners. After hearing evidence from Mrs. Panetta, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their own observations, Stewards took no further action. In arriving at this decision, Stewards took into heavy consideration the interference occurring to Spirited Wish's outside and the possible affect this incident would have had on the greyhound's racing manners on the first turn. Stewards were of the belief that the option to charge Spirited Wish for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment was open to them, but declined to do so in the belief that this would have been contrary to the intentions and the spirit of the rules.
