I'm A Lawyer– Late scratching at 2:02pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to illness. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Rare Sapphire, Fitzroy Bale and Miss Immy Lee were quick to begin. Sher Burgundy was slow to begin.
Returning Tide (contacted the rail turning off the back straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no injury reported.
A post-race sample was taken from Fitzroy Bale - winner of the event.
