Our Girl Rocks and No Comment were quick to begin.
Wingman Langdon visibly eased on the turn out of the front straight and tailed off. Wingman Langdon underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right front sesamoid injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms. Carly Feltham regarding Wingman Langdon's racing manners turning out of the front straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Wingman Langdon was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms. Feltham pled guilty to the charge and Wingman Langdon must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
