Elanga was severely checked on the home turn and lost ground, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have minor spike wounds. No stand down period was imposed.
Sky's Mate was severely checked on the home turn and lost ground, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury and a papilloma. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Scott Me - the winner of the event.
