Gotham Prince and Wild Assassin were slow to begin.
Absolute Flyer contacted the running rail and fell on the home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Wild Assassin was severely checked and fell on the home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left quadriceps injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Winged Dominance was checked and lost ground in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
