Steward's Report

Southern Sister and Sapphire Speed were slow to begin.

Kelli turned in the boxes and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.Kelli – Turned in the boxes, took no competitive part in the race and was placed on a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 106 (1), pursuant to GAR 132. 

Kimba Neo, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a long head triceps injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Robert Neocleous regarding the racing manners of Kimba Neo. After hearing submissions from Mr. Neocleous, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.

A post–race sample was taken from Sapphire Speed – the winner of the event.
