Lala Rapid – Late scratching at 1:01pm when Trainer Mr. Bradley Keel reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
Short Talk was quick to begin. My Bro Who was slow to begin.
My Bro Who, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right groin injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Kanji Xinji - Stewards spoke to representative Mr G. Dailly regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Kanji Xinji was charged with marring. Mr Dailly pled guilty to the charge, Kanji Xinji is suspended for 28 days at Geelong only and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
