Rixi Bale – Late scratching at 1:20PM when Mr. Correy Grenfell reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
Ike Bale was quick to begin.
Due to a mechanical malfunction, this event was incorrectly semaphored as Race 6 but subsequently rectified by the on-course Judge prior to the all clear being given.
A post–race sample was taken from Astra Bale – the winner of the event.
