Steward's Report
Dark Night was quick to begin.
Discrepancy was slow to begin.
Discepancy eased on the first turn and underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 9. Discepancy was found to have a right wrist injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Ms. K. Pitt regarding Discrepancy’s racing manners turning out of the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Discrepancy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms. Pitt pled guilty to the charge, Discrepancy was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Soda Mac - the winner of the event.
