Steward's Report
Chilly Bin and Bourne Blue were slow to begin.
Doonside Hub passing the first turn veered out and marred Blaze Of Fire, and in the home straight turned its head inwards and collided with Joffa's Liberty, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg wrist abrasion. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Darren Fisher, the trainer of Doonside Hub regarding the greyhound’s racing manners passing the first turn and in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Doonside Hub was charged with marring. Mr Fisher pleaded guilty to the charge, Doonside Hub was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warrnambool and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
