Steward's Report
Golden State and Earn The Drift were slow to begin.
Earn The Drift visibly eased on the first turn and shifted out, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have shin sorenes to the left foreleg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Ms. Lyn Smith regarding Earn The Drifts’s racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Earn The Drift was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) Ms. Smith pled guilty to the charge, Earn The Drift was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
