A post-race sample was taken from Turbo Brockie, unplaced in the event.
Turbo Brockie, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a quadriceps and back muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Mark Giddings regarding the racing manners of Turbo Brockie entering the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr Giddings, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight.
