In The Orange was slow to begin.
Bow Zarr Dashian was severely checked and fell on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions. No stand down period was imposed.
Pacific Rock was severely checked on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wounds to the left hind leg. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Mr Billy Galea, the handler of Manila Sultan was issued a warning in that he attracted the attention of the greyhound by making contact with the boxes after the greyhound was boxed, pursuant to GAR 105(10)(c).
