Rapido Storm and Deep fever were quick to begin.
Cindy's Boy marred Deep Fever in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on the left hind. No stand down peroid was imposed
Stewards spoke to Tony Tufo regarding Cindy's Boy’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Cindy's Boy was charged with marring. Tony Tufo pled not guilty to the charge, Cindy's Boy was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
