Steward's Report
A sample was taken from Supreme Sword upon arrival at the course.
Key Evidence, Tough Tears and Federal Reserve were quick to begin.
Trending Wanda faltered and lost ground in the back straight, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Ismay Bale visibly eased and turned its head outwards turning out of the back straight, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion on the left medial metatarsal. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Thomas Dailly regarding Ismay Bale's racing manners turning off the back straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Ismay Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Dailly pled guilty to the charge. Ismay Bale was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
