A race day sample was taken from Behind Greywalls and Donald Lane at the trainer’s kennels, earlier today.
Real Mickoy – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 106.
Real Mickoy, Little Amelia and Magic Bee were quick to begin.
A post-race sample was taken from Jimmy The Bear - the winner of the event.
Stewards spoke to Ms. S. Richards regarding the racing manners of Jimmy The Bear in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Ms. Richards, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.
