Steward's Report
Wobbly Boots and My Own Voice were slow to begin.
A post–race sample was taken from Long Haul – the winner of the event.
Red's Shout (turned head outwards in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left sand toe injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr B.Brown regarding Red Shout’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Red's Shout was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Brown pleaded guilty to the charge, Red's Shout was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
My Own Voice (lost ground in the back straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left groin injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
