A pre-race sample was taken from Juno Another Way.
Go Seek Carrigan was quick to begin, Son Of Cindy and Tinker Mike were slow to begin.
Juno Another Way underwent a post–race veterinary examination and after being re-vetted following race 7 was found to have a lumbo-sacral injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to kennel representative Mr. D. Cortese regarding Juno Another Way’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Juno Another Way was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Cortese pled not guilty to the charge, Juno Another Way was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
