This event started two minutes late due to operational issues.
Savannah Riot was quick to begin. Solar Toby was slow to begin.
Grumbler raced wide on the home turn and collided with Aston Capon, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr Cameron Taylor regarding the racing manners of Grumbler on the home turn. After hearing submissions from Mr. Cameron Taylor, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
