Steward's Report
Vayda Bale and Photo Man were quick to begin. Zippy Tesla and Kinrock Star were slow to begin.
Kinrock Star collided with Zara's Ivan in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left dew claw and right should injuries. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mario Briganti regarding the racing manners of Kinrock Star in the home straight. After reviewing all available evidence Stewards could not be comfortably satisfied the geyhound had offended under any rule and it was noted as a racing incident.
Post–race blood and urine samples were taken from Dusty Bourbski – the winner of the event.
