Steward's Report
An out of competition sample was taken from High Tribe Rico on 15 May 2022, pursuant to GAR 139.
Ride The Thunder and Jams Bolt were quick to begin. Sweet Vibes was slow to begin.
Due to an operational oversight at the completion of the event the catching pen gate was not utilised with the lure and greyhounds finishing in the back straight in a follow-on lure. Subsequently, all greyhounds in the event underwent a post-race veterinary examination by the on-track veterinarian and no apparent injuies were reported. Upon review of the circumstances, Stewards established that not all track staff were alerted to the race time changes for this meeting, which contributed to the catching pen gate being unmanned. All time changes for the race meeting were immidiently rectified with all race day officials and track staff. The lure carriage was changed and retested before the running of race 4 and cleared for racing.
