Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 75(6) Kennel Attendant, Mrs Jane Hooke did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Buckle Up was slow to begin.
Our Boy Ziggy turned it's head outwards and marred Buckle Up on the home turn. Trainer, Mr Wayne Hooke declined the option to have the greyhound vetted.
Stewards spoke to Mr Wayne Hooke regarding Our Boy Ziggy’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Our Boy Ziggy was charged with marring. Mr Hooke pled guilty to the charge, Our Boy Ziggy was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
