Sekola was slow to begin.
Change, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an oral lesion. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Gary Hansen regarding the racing manners of Change entering the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr Hansen, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight.
