Steward's Report
A pre–race sample was taken from My Mate Damien.
Luca's Jebrynah stumbled at box rise, became unbalanced and was very slow to begin (6L), underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Aston Matrice faltered approaching the 150m mark and subsequently pulled up, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock injury. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track approaching the 150m mark and deemed it satisfactory for racing.
