Steward's Report
Bridgit Rose and Lewy Baby were quick to begin. Awesome Isla was slow to begin.
Bridgit Rose raced ungenerously in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Gnarley Big Head collided with Lewy Baby at the 200m mark, severely checking Gnarley Big Head which fell as a result, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have right foreleg radius/ulna fractures. Gnarley Big Head was humanely euthanised.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track at the 200m mark and deemed it satisfactory for racing.
