Big Merc and Xenos Bale collided soon after the start checking Big Merc.  Sachin Bale and Big Merc collided approaching the first turn checking Sachin Bale and severely checking Big Merc.  Nikita's Elite, Wonaeamirri, and Giselle Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Giselle Bale and severely checking Wonaeamirri. Giselle Bale checked off Jimmy Lane approaching the first turn.  Wonaeamirri contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground as a result.  Sachin Bale and Big Merc collided on the first turn.  Big Merc galloped on the heels of Xenos Bale approaching the second turn.  Big Merc and Wild Frankie collided on the second turn checking Wild Frankie.  Wild Frankie galloped on the heels of Xenos Bale on the second turn severely checking both greyhounds.  Giselle Bale and Jimmy Lane collided on the third turn checking both greyhounds.  Xenos Bale and Wild Frankie collided entering the home straight checking Xenos Bale.  Big Merc and Wild Frankie collided approaching the winning post.

Wonaeamirri was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained minor spike wounds to the left hock, no stand down period was imposed.
