Dioro and Jimi Krakcorn collided soon after the start. Mavid Day and Hot Fuel collided approaching the first turn. Mavid Day checked off Hot Fuel approaching the first turn. Hot Fuel checked off Dioro approaching the home turn checking Latika, Hot Fuel lost ground as a result. Vittoria checked off Dioro approaching the home turn. Mavid Day checked off Latika on the home turn. Latika crossed to the outside approaching the winning post.
Hot Fuel was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr.P.Galea the trainer of Hot Fuel regarding his late arrival to the kennels to prepare the greyhound for this event. Stewards subsequently charged Mr.P.Galea with a breach of GAR 86(o)in that he negligently arrived late to the kennels to prepare his greyhound for racing. Mr.P.Galea was fined the sum of $300.
