My Lucky Fortune and Bella's Girl were quick to begin.  Vapour Flash, Dark Flash, Totoski, Take The Rap and What An Effort collided soon after the start checking Vapour Flash, Totoski and Take The Rap.  Dark Flash checked off What An Effort approaching the first turn.  Pure Saquan and Vapour Flash collided on the second turn.  Take The Rap raced wide on the second turn.  Totoski checked off Take The Rap in the back straight.  Bella's Girl and Vapour Flash collided approaching the home turn.

Chad's Chucky was quick to begin.  Yo Yoshi was slow to begin.  Sisco Shuffle and Haniera collided soon after the start.  Sisco Shuffle checked off Chad's Chucky on the first turn checking Bo Wilfred and severely checking Haniera which stumbled as a result.  Chad's Chucky and Yo Yoshi collided approaching the home turn.  Groove Girl and Bo Wilfred raced wide in the home straight.

Dioro and Jimi Krakcorn collided soon after the start.  Mavid Day and Hot Fuel collided approaching the first turn.  Mavid Day checked off Hot Fuel approaching the first turn.  Hot Fuel checked off Dioro approaching the home turn checking Latika, Hot Fuel lost ground as a result.  Vittoria checked off Dioro approaching the home turn.  Mavid Day checked off Latika on the home turn.  Latika crossed to the outside approaching the winning post.

Hot Fuel was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr.P.Galea the trainer of Hot Fuel regarding his late arrival to the kennels to prepare the greyhound for this event. Stewards subsequently charged Mr.P.Galea with a breach of GAR 86(o)in that he negligently arrived late to the kennels to prepare his greyhound for racing. Mr.P.Galea was fined the sum of $300.
 

Mr. Papagiorgio and Overlord was slow to begin.  Excel Like Quade, Arvo's Beattie and Monica's Hot collided soon after the start checking Arvo's Beattie.  Kansas Moonlight checked of Keep Me Covered approaching the first turn.  Excel Like Quade, Monica's Hot, Mr. Papagiorgio and Keep Me Covered collided approaching the first turn checking Kansas Moonlight and Keep Me Covered and severely checking Monica's Hot and Mr. Papagiorgio, Mr. Papagiorgio fell as a result severely checking Arvo's Beattie which tailed off as a result.  Excel Like Quade and Kansas Moonlight raced wide in the home straight.

Our Fireman, Maccaboy and Enhanced were slow to begin.  Opies Illusion and Single Man collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Maccaboy and Enhanced collided approaching the first turn.  Hot Thomeli, Single Man and Opies Illusion collided approaching the first turn.  Opies Illusion, Our Fireman and Imani Bale collided on the first turn.  Enhanced checked off Imani Bale on the first turn and fell as a result.  Opies Illusion and Imani Bale collided approaching the home turn checking Opies Illusion.

Arvo's Ricardo was vetted and revetted following event 11.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a grade 2 muscle injury left hamstring, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
