Steward's Report
Alert – Late scratching at 9.08am when Trainer Mr Correy Grenfell reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Little Leo and Factory Flyer collided soon after the start. Crackerjack Dirt began to lose ground soon after the start and tailed off. Little Leo and Brazen Crow collided on the first turn. Little Yaala and Yellow Brick collided in the home straight.
Crackerjack Dirt underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Orson Ruby - winner of the event.
