Basmati checked off King Crow soon after the start.  Trending Power, Big Braveheart and King Crow collided approaching the first turn checking King Crow.  Trending Power and Big Braveheart collided on the first turn checking Big Braveheart.  King Crow and Big Braveheart collided in the home straight.

Kanji Kilo was quick to begin.

Joyous Sensation, Tiggerlong Car and Aston Trump collided soon after the start.  Joyous Sensation checked off Aston Trump approaching the first turn checking Tiggerlong Car.  Joyous Sensation checked off Aston Trump on the home turn and collided with Rio Margarita.  Tiggerlong Car drifted wide in the home straight.

Lala Grapefruit was quick to begin.  Crime Thriller and Blackpool Homer were slow to begin.

Crime Thriller brushed the running rail in the back straight.  Crime Thriller and Pie Night collided approaching the first turn.  Rock Opera and Master Class collided approaching the winning post.  

An out of competition sample was taken from Exclusively Mine on 29 March 2022 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Very Jiggling and Sanctioned collided soon after the start.  Trendy Universe and Omaha Bale collided on the first turn.  

Ivanka Tea underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right carpal fracture.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Tiggerlong Panda was slow to begin.

Zambora Bear and Rocky Strike collided soon after the start.  Rocket Power and Kanji Length collided soon after the start and several times approaching the first turn.  Fire Witch and Grey Not Blue collided entering the home straight.  

Alert – Late scratching at 9.08am when Trainer Mr Correy Grenfell reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Little Leo and Factory Flyer collided soon after the start.  Crackerjack Dirt began to lose ground soon after the start and tailed off.  Little Leo and Brazen Crow collided on the first turn.  Little Yaala and Yellow Brick collided in the home straight. 

Crackerjack Dirt underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Pretty Fly was slow to begin.

Tiggerlong Flyer was slow to begin.

Willy Can Do, My Golden Eagle and Tiggerlong Flyer collided soon after the start.  Mick's Kimmy and My Golden Eagle collided entering the back straight checking Mick's Kimmy.  Who Cry Now raced wide in the back straight.  Tiggerlong Flyer, Willy Can Do and Millie Millions collided on the second turn, checking Millie Millions.  Crumb Snags checked off Millie Millions approaching the home turn.  Millie Millions and Flying Jelly collided on the home turn.  My Golden Eagle and Millie Millions collided approaching the winning post. 

My Name's Karen was slow to begin.

My Name's Karen, Our Maxie Boy and Belle Yaraki collided soon after the start checking Our Maxie Boy.  Laid Back Larry, Our Maxie Boy and Belle Yaraki collided approaching the first turn checking Belle Yaraki.  Zipping Dudley, My Name's Karen, Our Maxie Boy and Laid Back Larry collided on the first turn severely checking My Name's Karen, Our Maxie Boy and Laid Back Larry.

Dr. Forest was slow to begin.

Aston Khan marred Tyson's Typhoon approaching the first turn checking Global Beauty, Tyson's Typhoon and Aston Khan.  Branson Bale, Mighty Thanos and Draconic Lad collided on the first turn checking Draconic Lad.  Global Beauty galloped on Aston Khan approaching the home turn checking Global Beauty.  Global Beauty and Tyson's Typhoon collided on the home turn checking Tyson's Typhoon, severely checking Global Beauty and Dr. Forest, Dr. Forest and Global Beauty, both fell as a result.  

Dr. Forest underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a cervico-thoracic injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Global Beauty underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Aston Khan underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left quadriceps injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr Colin Brennan regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the first turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Aston Khan was charged with marring.  Mr. Brennan pleaded guilty to the charge, Aston Khan was suspended for 28 days at Ballarat only and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Blue Yaala – Late scratching at 9.58am due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Black Phoenix and Beautiful Freak collided approaching the first turn.  Rogan Bale brushed the rail approaching the first turn.  Wild Harmony and Numinous collided on the first turn checking Wild Harmony.  Wild Harmony, Darley Dynamo, Al's Shout and Beautiful Freak collided approaching the home turn checking Black Phoenix and severely checking Al's Shout which fell as a result.  Darley Dynamo and Beautiful Freak collided on the home turn checking Darley Dynamo.

Al's Shout underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the throat region.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Rogan Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right groin injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mrs Jennifer Torr regarding the greyhounds performance in the event.  In accordance with GAR 75 (1), the Stewards requested Mrs.Torr to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Rogan Bale in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
