Reality Minnie, Genie's Dream and Dr. Dulcie collided soon after the start. Reality Minnie checked off Dr. Dulcie approaching the first turn; checking Reality Minnie and Genie's Dream. Mojo's Redeemer and Jacquinot Jet collided approaching the home turn, checking Mojo's Redeemer; causing Mojo's Redeemer and Mt. View Moon to collide. Mojo's Redeemer and Dr. Dulcie collided on the home turn. Mojo's Redeemer and Genie's Dream collided in the home straight.
Mojo's Redeemer underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg wrist injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
