Theory's Legacy was slow to begin.
Boolite Bruiser checked off My Minion soon after the start. Smouldering Doll checked off Southwood Pluto approaching the first turn. Horsham Myth and Tigress Eight collided approaching the first turn checking Tigress Eight. Horsham Myth and Arolok Dora collided approaching the home turn severely checking Arolok Dora, Theory's Legacy, Tigress Eight and Smouldering Doll, Tigress Eight and Theory's Legacy fell as a result. Arolok Dora checked off My Minion approaching the home turn. Boolite Bruiser checked off Arolok Dora in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.
Tigress Eight was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
