This race was delayed by approximately 3 minutes, due to and issue with the Judge's photo finish equipment.

Loyal Miss was quick to begin. Fragility was slow to begin. Subbeha and Loyal Miss collided approaching the first turn. Sick Money and Subbeha collided on the first turn. Hay Angel galloped on Loyal Miss on the first turn, checking Hay Angel. Why Not Diamond and Fragility collided approaching the home turn. Loyal Miss checked off Sick Money on the home turn. Why Not Diamond and Bella Sprinter collided on the home turn. Hay Angel and Cheda Road Champ collided approaching the winning post checking Cheda Road Champ.

Cheda Road Champ was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hind foot graze; a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Brooklyn Cruiser and Garga Mill were slow to begin. Boom Boom Shiraz checked off Superior Ashlee on the first turn, checking Akina Wally and Brooklyn Cruiser. Brendan's Puzzle checked off Rememberance Day on the first turn. Brendan's Puzzle and Garga Mill collided approaching the home turn. Superior Ashlee and Boom Boom Shiraz collided on the home turn.

A sample was taken from Sedentary, the winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to Mr. I. Hastie the Trainer of Sedentary regarding the greyhounds improved performance. Mr. Hastie stated that the greyhound has been returned to his care after a spell. Mr. Hastie also added that the dog is an extremely bad kennel dog and stresses himself when competing in a later race. Stewards noted Mr. Hastie's explaination and directed that a sample be taken.

Delta Queen, Frisky Colour, Queen Hera and Atromeete were slow to begin. Frisky Colour and High End Dough collided on the first turn. Atromeete checked off Frisky Colour on the first turn. Golden Hand checked off Delta Queen on the first turn. Queen Hera and Atromeete collided on the home turn and again approaching the winning post.

Kiria Lason was slow to begin. Mahjong King was very slow to begin (3 lengths), crossed to the outside and raced wide soon after the start. Lilly's Hand and Uno Shelley collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Lilly's Hand and Kiria Lason collided approaching the second turn, checking Mahjong King. Mahjong King and Kiria Lason collided in the home straight, causing both greyhounds to race wide.

Mahjong King was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Chalker, the trainer of the greyhound Mahjong King.  Stewards deemed the performance of Mahjong King unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Mahjong King must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Shine was quick to begin. Shannon Vale and Demon Bomber were slow to begin. Shannon Vale raced wide approaching the first turn. Talk's Cheeky checked off Daintree Warrior approaching the first turn. Talk's Cheeky and Mad Russian collided on the third turn, severly checking Mad Russian.

Scenic Shot and Henry Garth collided soon after the start. Rozehill Lisa and Scenic Shot collided approaching the first turn, checking Pat The Baker. Daintree Puzzle and Pat The Baker collided on the first turn, checking Pat The Baker.  Special Lies and Gisborne Shiraz collided on the first turn, checking Gisborne Shiraz. Henry Garth checked off Pat The Baker on the first turn. Scenic Shot galloped on Special Lies on the second turn.

You Can Knocker was quick to begin. Zephyr Zap was slow to begin. You Can Knocker, Midnight Swirl and Hecan Bolt collided on the first turn, severely checking Midnight Swirl and Hecan Bolt.

You Can Knocker was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right calf injury; a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Wilson, Trainer of You Can Knocker and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn.

Daintree Sugar was slow to begin. Ronald, Kosi Can and Hurricane Isaac collided soon after the start. Kosi Can, Hurricane Isaac and Fantasizzing collided approaching the first turn. Sky Fighter and Daintree Dynasty collided approaching the first turn. Ronald and Daintree Dynasty collided on the first turn, checking Daintree Dynasty. Ronald and Daintree Sugar collided on the second turn, checking Ronald. Kosi Can and Fantasizzing collided approaching the winning post.

A pre race sample was taken from Buckle Up Miska, unplaced in the event.

Tee One Thousand was slow to begin. Conclave and Buckle Up Miska collided approaching the first turn, checking Buckle Up Miska. Tee One Thousand and Key Largo Prince collided on the first turn, checking Key Largo Prince, Buckle Up Miska, Veetee Dynamite and Whoosha. Tee One Thousand, Conclave and My Minion collided on the first turn, checking Tee One Thousand, Conclave and My Minion collided on the first turn checking Tee One Thousand, Conclave and Veetee Dynamite. Whoosha raced wide on the home turn.

Riverside Mary was quick to begin. Cruiser's Sol, Miss Black Ash and Daisy Dop collided soon after the start, checking Miss Black Ash. Hatari Star and Riverside Mary collided on the first turn. Miss Black Ash and Gino Keeping collided on the first turn, checking Gino Keeping. Cruiser's Sol and Daisy Dop collided on the first turn, checking Cruiser's Sol. Miss Black Ash and Biffon Racer raced wide in the home straight.

Gino Keeping was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left fore laceration; a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Fears Got Gears was quick to begin. Napalm Red, Tekki Tyrant and Dozer Boy were slow to begin. Napalm Red and Tekki Tyrant collided approachig the first turn, checking Napalm Red. Double Adapto galloped on Oscar's Chance on the first turn, checking Dozer Boy, My Wish and Double Adapto. Tekki Tyrant and Dozer Boy collided approaching the home turn. Napalm Red raced wide on the home turn. 

Dublin Dandy and Creative Azzam were slow to begin. Brave Crawf, Firey Ann, Bugatti Black, Classy Capri and Creative Azzam collided soon after the start checking Creative Azzam, Fiery Ann and Bugatti Black. Corrine, Classy Capri and Rusty Rogers collided on the first turn checking Corrine and Classy Capri.

Firey Ann was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound suffered from sore gums, no stand down period was imposed.

MEETING COMMENTS:

Satisfactory Trial Results - Black Eyed Papa trialled over the 520 metres from box 1, weight 31.0 kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 31.42, the greyhound won by a margin of 6.50 lengths. Black Eyed Papa was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Ginsue Too trialled over the 520 metres from box 3, weight 28.5 kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 31.42, the greyhound was beaten a margin of 6.50 lengths. Ginsue Too was Cleared.
